We all are guilty of using hot tools here and there to achieve a desired look! And that’s ok, I do it too, but let’s make sure we are using our tools the right way!
When styling, avoid the weft line, especially a micro weft. This is going to reduce the risk of melting, damage or even discoloration on the extension. You want to keep a safe distance from the top of the weft.

Your hot tool should be set between 260 and 360. The ideal temperature depends on your hairs condition and the overall density. High temperatures can cause your hair cuticle to crack and lift, which can lead to breakage, tangles, and split ends.

Let’s keep the heat down so we can turn the styling up!!
